Dave has led the AlliedCook team for more than three decades. As President, he transformed the company from a traditional general contractor into a focused, successful Construction Management firm and has become a leader in the Maine Construction Industry. He has more than 35 years of experience in construction management and general contracting, and he has proven abilities in strategic planning, business management and leadership. Dave serves as facilitator in the planning process with clients, architects, engineers, cost estimators, jurisdictional authorities, financial institutions and others. He has successfully developed and implemented a business plan to lead the company during periods of economic slowdown while positioning it for future growth. This positioning resulted in a cohesive culture based on customer service provided by a professional management team with clearly defined roles, open communication and an environment of continual improvement.

Daniel S. Cook, LEED AP

Dan has worked full time with the company since 1992. In addition to the responsibilities of being an owner he also holds the title of Vice President of Operations. He has daily contact with Owners, Architects, Engineers, Superintendents, Project Managers, Subcontractors and Suppliers to ensure that project “issues” do not evolve in to “problems.” Dan manages field resources to provide for smooth construction operations. This aspect of Dan’s position includes labor and equipment management, planning and resource allocation. He also improved the company’s Safety Policy & Procedures guidelines and now manages it and effectively keeps our projects in compliance with OSHA safety standards.

Matthew D. Cook, LEED AP

Since coming to work at AlliedCook in 1996, Matt has gained experience in multiple phases of construction including project management and financial management. He earned is Masters of Real Estate and Construction Management (MRCM) and MBA in 2001 from the University of Denver. Matt brings over a decade of Project Management experience, having successfully managed construction projects up to $13,000,000 and 166,000 square feet in size. He takes an active roll in preconstruction and construction services including; marketing, interviewing process, contract negotiations, insurance/risk management, financial oversight and project management.
