Historic Restoration
Many of our projects often involve some kind of historic restoration in the scope of work, especially here in Maine. Our experience includes projects such as senior living homes, municipal buildings, hotels and academic facilities. In addition, AlliedCook has experience working with the historic tax credit process. In fact we were proud to deliver one of the first building projects that utilized Maine’s Historic Tax Incentive Program.
In the fall of 2008, the construction on Bessey Commons Senior Living Home was completed. AlliedCook was hired to rejuvenate the rundown school and provide a new and comfortable home that includes 54 apartments for residents 55 and over.
