UNE Goddard Hall

Architect
Port City Architecture

Project Summary

Located on UNE’s Portland campus, historic Goddard Hall’s interior has been completely removed and replaced with a modern steel & composite slab structure.  The replacement of the interior structure proved to be a challenging task that was performed successfully due to the coordination of an experienced team of design professionals and contractors. The Hall’s exterior, built in 1857, has been completely restored to maintain its historic character while the interior space has been transformed into a modern, energy efficient office space.  The renovation incorporates a History Room in the facility’s main lobby where UNE will showcase its rich history as an institution of higher education.

Goddard Hall will house the administration and faculty offices for UNE’s new Dental College.
