Project Summary
AlliedCook is pleased to announce the completion of UNE’s Sokokis Hall. The new residence hall is our 14th UNE building project. The 4-story, 82 suite Residence Hall, on the Biddeford campus, consists of 3 and 4 bedrooms units and will house approximately 300 students for the fall 2010 semester. This unique project is situated across Route 9 and connects to the main campus by a pedestrian underpass called “The Gateway”.
Green-minded students, faculty and staff will appreciate the fact that UNE has set aside 160 acres of undeveloped land as conservation area. The project has been registered as a LEED® building project, which will be UNE’s second LEED® building. AlliedCook completed UNE’s first LEED® building, The College of Pharmacy, which opened on the Portland campus for the fall 2009 semester.
