Located on the Kennebec River in the heart of downtown Augusta, this 37,000-SF former Augusta City Hall building was renovated and restored into 31 assisted-living apartments, now known as the Inn at City Hall.
The restoration preserved many of the unique features throughout this historic 115-year-old building. The Inn’s library and dining rooms provide space for residents to meet and socialize or to simply enjoy the views of the Kennebec River from the exterior patio. The beautiful City Hall stage provides a place for community activities and social events.
The project earned certification for meeting National Park Service standards for historic preservation.
